Mom Staycation

So as you know I’m a new mom of two and man it’s truly a blessing. However, it does come with some adjustments. Let’s not forget last time I had a newborn before now was literally 7 1/2 years ago, lol. The whole new baby aspect is a beautiful thing but babbbbbyyyyyyyyyy……. It’s tiring. I think Facebook and Instagram has fabricated baby postings about mothering a newborn. There is this unrealistic fantasy that parenthood is sunshine and blue skies, ALWAYS. The moments with your kids are priceless but let’s be honest parenting is a full time job.

I decided it’s time for a me to take a mommy-staycay. Although, many of you may already know, but for those who don’t know…… A mommy staycation/staycay is when you schedule you some away time but you’re not actually leaving the state or anything your just at a hotel with your phone on do not disturb enjoying some much needed alone time.

I plan on making my staycay worth it. I began researching hotels, nail shops, masseuse’s ‘cause honey while you have this time you better fit everything you can in. I stumbled across some pretty good places feel free to check them out below.

Contrary to popular belief, I’m an introvert and I love being by myself. Moments of alone time are what recharges me. I find that in order for me to function its imperative I get my alone moments.

At one point I did feel guilty about needing to be away from everyone in order to keep from going crazy. While learning myself I found out I’m a whole lot nicer when I take a moment to recharge and I think everyone would appreciate that, lol.

If you haven’t taken the time to just get a change of scenery for a few days, I strongly encourage you to book a staycation.

When you book your next staycation definitely check out some of these nice hotels
